UCF Student and Peer Tutor Hannah Sage Finishes 3rd in Jeopardy! College Championship

Peer Tutor Hannah Sage represented the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the 2-day Jeopardy! College Championship finals on Thursday, April 19 – Friday, April 20, 2018. Hannah is a Sophomore at UCF majoring in Mathematics.  Among her many campus affiliations and activities include a job as Peer Tutor at the Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) where Hannah assists other students in General Chemistry. She is also a National Merit Scholar and LEAD Scholar.  Hannah started as a Peer Tutor in SARC during fall 2017 and says that, “tutoring students in chemistry has helped me become more confident and has really allowed me to share my passion for helping others by making a difference on the UCF campus.” Her third-place win on Jeopardy! resulted in her winning $25,000, which she plans to use towards travel and her future medical school expenses.
