The NCLCA Institute is a small gathering of learning center leaders which features several nationally recognized mentors who will focus on topics relative to using research based evidence to help develop learning center programs and services.

Learning Center Certification and Learning Center of Excellence Designation

The Learning Centers of Excellence Certification recognizes the outstanding achievements of centers that meet and exceed standards. Certification grants a plaque to be displayed in the learning center, a letter to your college/university president/chancellor, a press release sample to share with your publications/marketing departments, and more. 

Learning Center Leadership Certification

LCLC provides individual learning assistance professionals a nationally-recognized credential and set of standards by which to foster their future growth and development. Besides providing a standard of credentialing and continuing professional development, certification can be used by learning center directors and learning assistance professionals as rewards and incentives for better performance appraisals and as part of benchmarking the attainment of staff members in reports to their institutions.

WEbinar & Workshop Series (WOWs)

The purpose of the Webinar & Workshop Series is to advance NCLCA's mission to supports learning center professionals as they develop and maintain learning centers, programs, and services to enhance student learning. 
The webinar format allows for learning center professionals to learn in real time from and with peers without the burden of travel costs or as much time away from work as a conference would entail.
